The Eileen J. Garrett Library has moved to 308 Front Street in Greenport, New York, out on the tip of the North Fork of Long Island, across the bay from Shelter Island. Through-out the summer of 2006, the library will be open on a schedule to be announced — if the flag is out, we’re in! — and by appointment.
Our Audio/Video collection compises over 400 VHS NTSC videotapes and DVDs, 200 plus audiotapes and CD-Roms, and related materials. These materials are cataloged, annotated and will be available for study and perusal by documentary film-makers, producers, media professionals, scholars, and any and all researchers seriously involved in the subject.
Because we are, as always, committed to the continual development of our collection, new titles are being added constantly and suggestions for — indeed, contributions to — this burgeoning archive are most welcome. Correspondance should be addressed to office@parapsychology.org
Highlights of the collection, in its present form, include the Walter and Mary Jo Uphoff “New Frontiers Collection” (generously donated by Mary Jo Uphoff), a complete run of the PF’s own Perspectives Lecture Series videos through 2004, film of several past PF International Conference Proceedings, and audio and videos of varous conferences and conventions on parapsychology.
