Delayed by a super-busy anniversary year for the Parapsychology Foundation (2001) and the unexpected and tragic attack on on September 11th and its aftermath, the International Journal of Parapsychology fell behind schedule. The Volume XII, Number 2, 2001 issue is currently in the final stages of pre-press preparation. Among the articles scheduled for this issue are: “The Work of Eugène Osty in Psychical Research” by Jorge Villenueva (Instituto de Psicología Paranormal, Buenos Aires, Argentina), “A Mail Survey of Ouija Board Users in North America” by Dr. John Palmer of the Rhine Research Center in Durham, North Carolina in the U.S.; “Are Spirits the Untouchables of Academic Life? Situated No Legitimacy in Feminism” by Dr. Kenneth Caneva of the Department of History of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro in the U.S., articles on the Foundation and on Eileen J. Garrett’s mediumship (in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Foundation) by Dr. Carlos S. Alvarado, Eileen Coly, Lisette Coly, and Nancy L. Zingrone, and by Arthur Hastings, respectively. Also in this up-coming issue are two new case reports, a classical update on the work of Hereward Carrington, a review of on-line experiments by Dr. Kathy Dalton, an eclectic mix of book reviews, and much more. Volume XII, Number 1, 2001 has already been mailed to subscribers and Number 2, 2001 should be in the mail by the end of the year. Volume XIII, Number 1, 2002 is already in process, and planning for Number 2, 2002 and Volume XIV, Number 1, 2003 has already begun. Back issues of Volume XI, Numbers 1 and 2 are also available.
